Today I took my first ever tour with the Houston Health Museum. They showed us every exhibit and the behind-the-scenes of every room. I realized that despite the smaller size of the museum the passion of the employees makes up for the lack of room. With only two changing exhibits, I hope to learn more about what it takes to research and curate an exhibit. Hopefully, I will be able to achieve this knowledge through their new exhibit about AI. This exciting tour has only invigorated my passion for museums and sparked an optimistic view of this upcoming internship!

Some goals I hope to accomplish include becoming friends with every UH intern that works at the museum. Furthermore, I hope to learn most of the museum staff by name and shadow their responsibilities. I wish to gain the hard skills required to work at any museum through their jargon and management systems. Finally, a more challenging goal I desire to attain is somehow creating a lasting and noticeable impact on the museum and its service to the community.
